What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saturday Reading Program Teacher position at SCHOOL # 27?
Qualifications:
- Must be a current employee of Paterson Public Schools,
- Must have appropriate teacher certificate K-6 or K-12
- Experience working with elementary school students
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators and the community
- Must work the entire length of the 10 week Saturday Program
- Teachers should have the ability to design creative and interdisciplinary lessons that will promote student literacy.
- Meet such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
- Pending budget availability.
- All postings are open for ten (10) consecutive days following the date posted or until filled.
