Principal - Jr/Sr High School

The Schoharie Central School District is seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as the next Jr./Sr. High School Principal.

We are looking for a collaborative, visible, and student-centered leader who believes that strong relationships are the foundation of great schools. The successful candidate will foster a culture of high expectations, support outstanding teaching and learning, and partner with students, staff, families, and the community to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.

• Oversees the daily operations of the Jr./Sr. High School to ensure an efficient, well-managed, and student-centered learning environment.
• Values innovation, continuous improvement, and shared leadership.
• Celebrates the strengths of a small, rural school community.

Qualifications:

• New York State School Building Leader (SBL) Certification required.
• Successful administrative leadership experience preferred.
• Secondary teaching and leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a small, rural school district is a plus.
