CFO - Construction Background Required (Onsite Role)

POSITION: Chief Financial Officer with Construction BackgroundWe are looking for a proven Chief Financial Officer with a strong background and experience in construction to take full ownership of financial strategy and execution for a growing, multi-location service-based company.This role requires:Prior experience as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in construction (NOTE: Controller, Accounting Manager, or Finance Director experience alone does NOT qualify)Ability to work 100% onsite (NO remote or hybrid options)Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all financial operations, including construction project accounting, job costing, and service operationsLead and manage the accounting and finance teamManage A/P, A/R, cash flow, payroll, insurance, compliance, and construction-specific financial processesMaintain accrual-based accounting for multi-location operationsPrepare and review financial statements and reports, focusing on construction project profitabilityLead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support growth and project planningEnsure IRS, payroll tax, and regulatory complianceImprove financial systems, policies, and procedures for construction and service operationsIdentify financial risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunitiesAdvise the CEO and executive leadership on financial strategy and project investmentsStay hands-on in day-to-day financial oversightQualifications:10 years of accounting experience5 years in senior financial leadership, ideally within the construction service industryDegree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferredExperience supporting multi-location operations and managing construction project accountingStrong background in payroll, insurance, accrual-based accounting, and job costingHands-on, strategic, and detail-orientedPosition Offers:Competitive Compensation PackageTo Apply:Send your updated resume and phone number.
