ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Sales Consultant to join the team at Schoen's Roofing & Exteriors. This is not just a door-knocking job it's a full sales role where you'll build a book of business through your personal network, referral partners, past customers, and community relationships. We'll support you with company-provided inbound leads and a call center that sets appointments on your behalf, so you can focus on what matters most: showing up, building trust, and closing deals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and grow a referral network through personal connections, past customers, real estate agents, insurance agents, property managers, and local networking groups
- Work inbound leads provided by the company and appointments set by our call center
- Canvas storm-affected neighborhoods following weather events to generate additional opportunities
- Conduct roof and exterior inspections with detailed photo documentation - Educate homeowners on their damage, insurance coverage, and available solutions
- Present proposals and close contracts for roofing, siding, windows, and other exterior work
- Manage your pipeline and follow-up activity in our CRM
- Hand off signed contracts to the production team and maintain communication through job completion
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Weekly draw deducted from commission earned based on job profit margin (uncapped)
- Monthly gas allowance (company credit card)

- Inbound leads fed directly to you from company marketing
- Call center support to set appointments on your behalf
- CRM, Company Cam, measurement software, company phone number and email
- Customer financing options and credit card processing
- Office team handles: material ordering, crew production, insurance supplementing, invoicing, and customer communication
- Computer available on a lease-to-own basis
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A natural relationship builder who knows how to stay top of mind with their network
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule, pipeline, and referral activity
- Comfortable working outdoors and on rooftops (training provided)
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable personal vehicle required
- Previous sales experience in roofing, construction, real estate, or insurance is a plus not required
