Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing inspections and tests and maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and, finally, finished products.
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
- To ensure all products are manufactured or remanufactured to the customer's specifications.
- Performs all inspections to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Assists the QC supervisor with the adherence to the requirements of API Q1 related to quality control.
- Maintain a clean and orderly quality control department that projects a professional work environment.
- Assumes responsibilities as directed by management.
Training, Skills, Knowledge, and/or Experience:
- 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training, or as deemed sufficient by management.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to analyze information.
- Must possess excellent attention to detail.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
