We are seeking an Account Coordinator to support our Sales team.
Account Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Dan's Sales Staff with entering orders into launchpad.- Collect all missing ads weekly for Dan's Papers, Dan's Papers Palm Beach, Dan's Papers NYC, Behind The Hedges.
- Assist the Salespeople in collecting creative from clients.
- Maintaining open space log as we go to press each week, coordinating placement of all ads sold with the Production Manager.
- Compare launchpad to ad book, move ads into correct sections.
- Stay with the book until it ships on Tuesday evening.
- Update glossy grid as salespeople sell for placement.
- Lay out a glossy grid with page placement weekly.
- Create ads for salespeople in Design2Pro.
- Upload creative into launchpad.
- Pulling weekly reports for salespeople to do year over year comparisons.
- Pull weekly accounts receivable reports.
- Assist salespeople in collecting receivables by entering credit cards and sending invoices when requested.
- Keep a log of all sales leads assigned to salespeople.
- Update google sheet with competitors ads from all local magazines and newspapers in Hamptons and Palm Beach.
- Run launchpad reports from 8 media titles to see what is booked one week ahead.
- Compare launchpad reports to google spreadsheet scheduler.
- Reach out to each salesperson to collect digital assets.
- Work with Design2Pro, to create and or correct sizes for digital ads.
- Upload ads into creative folders for the digital department to pull, list all links in a word document.
- Provide a weekly update every Friday to digital @ schnepsmedia.com to list what is missing and coming at the last minute.
- Request and check test emails and newsletters before they are sent for accuracy.
Account Coordinator Job Requirements:
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.- Keen attention to detail, organized
- Clear and concise communicator
- Proficiency in G-Suite applications and Microsoft Office is a must.
- Comfort level will online/digital media
- WordPress knowledge a plus
