Human Resources Generalist – Schnellecke Logistics Alabama
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist who is committed to supporting a positive workplace culture, ensuring fair and consistent HR practices, and partnering closely with leaders and team members across the site. This role plays an essential part in employee relations, onboarding, data management, and overall HR operational support.
What You’ll Do
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees and leaders on HR-related matters.
- Run daily attendance and labor-hours reports for assigned shifts.
- Maintain data integrity within the HRIS, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Process terminations, transfers, and related HR documentation.
- Track and maintain records for employee relations and corrective actions.
- Manage confidential personnel files and ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact between local HR, corporate HR, and operational leadership.
- Lead new-hire onboarding and orientation sessions.
- Support leadership development and training initiatives.
- Create HR-related documents, spreadsheets, and reports to support business needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and policy application.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and ethical decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Previous HR Generalist or HR support experience preferred (minimum 2 years).
