Warehouse Team Leader - 2nd shift

Job Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates while participating in daily tasks to reinforce best practices.
• Assign and adjust workload for warehouse associates during the shift, working collaboratively to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Communicate with other shift leaders to relay important information and operational updates.
• Pull and load all orders required for morning and/or afternoon delivery routes, assisting team members as needed.
• Work with the team to pull all stock required to fulfill online orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Load and unload daily transfer trucks, verifying the accuracy of all loads while participating in the process.
• Prepare necessary space for incoming product, working with the team to optimize storage areas.
• Work with the team to pull and set aside product needed by the incoming shifts, ensuring readiness and accuracy.
• Support and assist team members in promptly and accurately putting away all returns.
• Collaborate with the team to receive product throughout the day and ensure accurate return to inventory.
• Lead by example in maintaining an accurate and up-to-date running inventory through active participation and oversight.
• Coordinate with the team to move and transport scrap tires to designated locations safely and efficiently.
• Assist team members with customer pickups, ensuring professional and timely service.
• Participate in cleaning off trucks and moving them as needed to support property maintenance tasks.
• Assign and work with the warehouse team to complete general property maintenance tasks as required.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis throughout the shift.
• Must be able to push and pull loads of up to 100 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, often for the duration of the shift.
• Occasionally required to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, or crawl as tasks demand.
• May occasionally be required to lift items overhead.
• Must be able to safely climb and descend ladders.
• May be required to operate a vehicle for local driving and deliveries.
• Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, or snow.
• Must be able to load and unload vehicles in various weather conditions.

Hours: 2pm-11pm (Sun-Thur)

Pay: $22.00 plus $2 shift premium
