About the Position
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team in Picayune, MS. This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who enjoys one-on-one patient care, building relationships with patients, and helping people return to the activities they love.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Progress patients toward functional goals and independence
- Document evaluations, daily treatments, and progress notes accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain a positive, professional, and patient-centered environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
- Current Mississippi Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative member of a team
