Job Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time Branch Manager to oversee our Seneca and Erie facilities. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring all workflows are performed safely and accurately. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with a strong work ethic and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales teams, Schneider’s branches, internal departments, external carriers, and vendors to support daily operations.
- Manage incoming calls from employees and customers, providing timely and professional assistance.
- Develop and maintain employee schedules, monitor overtime, and track vacation time to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Oversee the security, maintenance, and overall functionality of facilities and fleet vehicles.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper product rotation to minimize waste and prevent damage.
- Coordinate vendor orders, deliveries, and pickups to maintain operational efficiency.
- Distribute customer communications to store locations accurately and promptly.
- Perform delivery routes as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Maintain driver DOT compliance files, verify license validity, and notify employees of random drug screenings.
- Review and verify payroll for accuracy.
- Manage branch budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure all paperwork and deposits are accurate and submitted to Pittsburgh in a timely manner.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve performance and support growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–4 years of operations management experience
- 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- CDL Class B required; Class A preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly accountable with good time management skills
- Willing to learn all aspects of the business
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
