Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Software, Senior Design Engineer in Andover, MA.
Job Description: Develop scalable and secure software for platforms and services deployed on Azure cloud. Collaborate with architects and other key stakeholders to clarify and deliver project requirements. Define and execute on an execution plan for specific features or internal system maintenance and upgrades. Actively participate in engineering efforts that help streamline the experience of our product. Work with stakeholders to solve problems, debug, and profile. Position eligible for up to 3 days remote work per week.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related technical field and 4 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in software application development, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Using software application design principals, technologies, and paradigms, including: Visual Studio, VS Code, Git, .NET, C#, Entity Framework, Cloud development technologies and frameworks (Azure, Azure Service Framework); and Object-oriented software design and service-oriented architectures, including the following: Build Management Systems and IoT Data Connectivity (EcoStruxure Building Operation and Stibil, Gilif); Microsoft Azure Data Explorer (Kusto Query Language), API and REST interface development, SQL and NoSQL databases and concepts, Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL), GDPR and Data Privacy by Design, Scrum and the Agile Development Framework.
