Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Manufacturing and Quality Engineer CO-OP in Cedar Rapids, IA, facility for Summer through the Fall Semester of 2026! This intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to real-life initiatives, projects and resume boosting experience within a Fortune 500 company. This will be a full-time CO-OP. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What will you do?
- Dive into root cause analysis and problem solving in an industrial environment.
- Explore a variety of projects focused efficiency, quality, performance of production equipment, and document control.
- Learn about 5S principles and engineering documentation in the factory setting.
- Reduce waste and scrap using Lean manufacturing and 6 Sigma principles.
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering or higher, Manufacturing or Industrial track preferred, at a Sophomore or classification or higher.
- You demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production workers.
- You bring strong, consistent energy and can maintain a fast, productive pace in a high‑speed production environment.
- You demonstrate strong learning agility by continuously seeking new knowledge, fostering curiosity, and adapting to change.
- You possess strong organization and planning skills, effectively managing your time and prioritizing multiple competing tasks.
- Meaningful, real-world experience that builds technical skills and professional capability.
