Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the technical function for a specific product range or multiple technical sub-functions
- Inform general management about technical problems, particularly regarding industrial and technological modifications
- Perform all hierarchical management activities to organize/manage the technical function and communicate technical issues
- Optimize the efficiency, productivity, and reliability of an organization's operational processes and equipment.
- Involve overseeing the development and implementation of methods, procedures, and maintenance strategies to ensure that resources are utilized effectively, and that equipment and facilities are well-maintained.
- Lean Mfg techniques
- Six Sigma
- Kaizen
- Value Stream Mapping
- Layout optimization
- Digital Transformation
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to successfully lead teams through challenger projects.
- Ability to collaborate and/or influence to achieve challenging results
- Demonstrate SE core values in everything you do.
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 4 years of Industrial Engineering experience in an automated industrial environment
- Experience in time-motion studies and standard work
- Hands on experience with Lean concepts (VSM, SMED, 8 waste, Takt Times, Cellular Mfg, Pokey Yoke)
- Strong problems solving skills
- Autocad / CREO / PDM efficiency
