What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Assembly Technician - 1st Shift position at Schneider Electric?
What will you do?
- Assemble components and products following detailed specifications and standardized processes
- Inspect finished products to verify quality and ensure adherence to standards
- Work closely with team members to achieve production goals and maintain efficient workflows
- Keep your work area clean and organized while promptly reporting any equipment issues
- Customer Orientation — intermediate level; ensuring product quality meets internal and external customer expectations
- Drives for Results — intermediate level; meeting production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Digital Literacy — developing level; using digital tools and systems to track production data
- Operational Health and Safety Management — developing level; following safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Problem Solving — developing level; identifying and escalating production issues quickly
- Quality Control & Inspection — developing level; inspecting products to ensure they meet specifications
- Automation Integration — foundational level; working alongside automated systems in the production process
- Lean Methodology — foundational level; supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Dependable and accountable — you take pride in your work and follow through
- Eager to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently.

Safely execute standard work and suggest improvements to operating procedures
- Achieve proficiency in all assigned stations
- Execute operations to meet efficiency target standards
- Assist with training, as needed
- Identify and escalate to the Team Leader (IAB3) any risks regarding health, safety, quality and
- Ensure the quality of the operations performed by controlling and respecting the standards
- Apply escalation process in case of any deviation (safety, environment, quality, performance)
- Ensure proper recording of barriers and performance in Red / Green follow up
- Perform basic line preventative maintenance.
- Ensure Proper 5S standards are maintained.
- Assist with startup and continuous improvement projects
- Facilitate teamwork and collaboration by actively engaging with team members to foster a
- Regularly participate in relevant training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
