Application Engineer Co-Op (Summer 2025)

Schneider Electric has a new opportunity for a Application Engineer Co-Op to join our Andover, MA team, starting June/July 2025. The ideal candidate will stay for 6-8 months, working full-time onsite in our Digital Buildings Innovation Lab. 

What will you do?

• Apply domain expertise in commercial buildings to contribute to the innovation and integration projects within our engineering lab

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of HVAC principles and their application in building automation systems

• Collaborate with technical partners and other business units to showcase innovation and interoperability in the digital/commercial buildings domain

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Building Automation)

• Experience in commercial building automation and integration projects

• Familiarity with IoT technologies and their application in building systems is a plus

• Python, Java script and UX/UI design experience highly desirable

• Proficient in hands-on wiring and troubleshooting of building automation systems

• Strong data analysis skills for informed decision-making

• Genuine interest in professional growth within the commercial building sector

• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders

• Experience in a prior Customer-facing role

• Ability to work full-time based in Andover, MA starting June or July 2025
