In this role, you’ll combine strategic thinking and collaboration with strong writing and editing skills while effectively developing engaging internal and external content for various channels. - Creates clear, engaging internal and external content across various media, offering editorial oversight and quality control.
- Maintains and updates content across channels to ensure timely, accurate information.
- Applies brand voice and messaging across all materials to strengthen organizational identity.
- Coordinates multichannel communication plans that support organizational initiatives, events, and strategic priorities.
- Collaborates with departments, project teams, and leadership to gather information and translate it into clear, audience‑appropriate messaging.
- Assists with press releases as needed.
- Tracks engagement metrics, analyzes performance, and recommends improvements to strengthen communication impact.
- Maintains schedules for recurring communications, campaigns, and content deadlines.
- Reviews, edits, and proofreads content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Assists with communication needs for company events, leadership messages, and major organizational updates.
- Reinforces company culture and values through consistent, thoughtful messaging.
- Supports other Communications-related tasks as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field
- 3 years of experience in communications, editorial content, digital communications, or related roles
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Proficient knowledge of AP Style
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Familiarity with website/intranet content management systems (SharePoint, WordPress) and digital analytics a plus
- Self-starter with strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and produce results while adhering to multiple deadlines
- Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
