Schmidt's currently has a fleet of seven food trucks that are out for lunch and dinner every night of the week!
Overview As a Food Truck Sales Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day sales activities of our (7) food trucks at various locations and events. Your role involves coordinating schedules, supporting customer service efforts, incoming and outgoing sales, and ensuring operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a family-owned business that values teamwork, enthusiasm, and dedication to quality food service.
Duties
- Coordinate daily schedules for food truck locations and staff assignments to maximize sales opportunities.
- Support inventory management by tracking sales, communicating details with the team
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answering questions about menu items and promoting specials
- Outgoing sales to promote the trucks, find new areas
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions using POS systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours or special events
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing documents, and calendar management to keep operations organized.
Skills
- Experience with office management tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management abilities.
- A strong and sincere passion for food, festivals and fun!
- Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette, written. and verbal communication
- Detail oriented, time managers skills, and critical thinking
- Proven customer service skills with an approachable demeanor
- Previous experience in office or administrative support roles; personal assistant experience is beneficial
