Job Overview
Schmidt Fencing is looking for motivated Fence Installers to join our growing team. As an Installer, you’ll be responsible for building and installing fence systems safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working outdoors, and can work both independently and as part of a crew.
Responsibilities
- Install fence posts, panels, gates, and related components according to project plans and specifications
- Operate tools and equipment, including post drivers and power tools, safely and effectively
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards and customer expectations
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment on job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Work with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges as needed
- Maintain accurate records of daily work and materials used
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fencing, construction, or installation is preferred but not required—training provided for the right candidate
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor, including lifting materials and using heavy equipment
- Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
- Dependable and self-motivated with a focus on quality work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
