Schmidt Boat Lifts & Docks, a family owned and operated company since 1986 & the premier waterfront equipment manufacturer, distributor, & service company in Wisconsin, is currently looking to add to our team at our Waupaca Store.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable individual to assist our customers in purchasing equipment to enjoy their waterfront—whether for boating, kayaking, fishing, watersports or just enjoying the outdoors!
This fulltime position will involve working with our customers in our showroom, along with doing some deliveries, demonstrations & basic service on local bodies of water.
Qualified individual must:
- be personable & professional with customers in person & on the phone
- be trustworthy, reliable & able to work independently
- comfortable working on a computer (MS Office experience is helpful)
- be able to drive a truck with trailer
- be able to help customers load purchases with forklift or by hand
- be able to use basic hand & power tools occasionally
- have a valid driver’s license
Sales experience is a plus, but not necessary—we need someone willing to learn & that enjoys working with people. Taking care of our customers, being accountable, an attention to detail, teamwork, communication & supporting the entire team are essential for this position. A knowledge of local waterways & being mechanical are definitely helpful.
Waupaca showroom is open Monday - Saturday. Schmidt Boat Lifts & Docks is a drug-free workplace.
