Description
As part of a global IT Team, the IT Security Administrator is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the administration and installation of security controls, as well as monitoring to ensure the secure operation of the organization. The Security Administrator, with their impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills, develops, configures, maintains, supports, and optimizes all new and existing security applications like SIEM, PAM, AV, and IDM, along with threat analysis tools and authentication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with the Infrastructure security engineer team to implement short- and long-term strategic plans to meet the existing and future security requirements
· Implement and enforce policies, guideline, procedures, and associated training plans for security controls, administration, and appropriate use
· Implement and enforce policies, guideline for security asset management, including maintenance of patching, life cycle management
· Administration of all security applications, including Anti-Virus, Vulnerability Scanner, Awareness training platform, mobile threat prevention, etc
· IT Change Management
· Responsible for all security domains for all IT supported applications and those infrastructure services:
· Enforce all security policies related with authentication
· Advocate and promote security best practices and policies for the IT organization
· Ensure that security policies are enforced
· Support the current BCP, IRP and DRP with the Security Analysts
· Provide second-level support as needed
· Adhere to company policies and protocols
· After hours support and maintenance as necessary
Requirements
· BA in IT, Business Technology, or other related fields
· Basic ITIL or Agile certification a plus
· 3 to 5 years of experience in a related position
· Bilingual, both oral and written
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience managing and working with the following:
o MDM solution
o PAM Solution
o SIEM Solution
o Patch Management
o Antivirus Management
o Firewall Management
o Tenable
o NIST and ISO 27001
o Microsoft as an IdPs
o Checkpoint as a Firewall Provider
· Strong experience in a process-driven environment
· Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain a high level of organization
· Possesses strong leadership and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
