As a reputable leader in our field, we have a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer who understands the ground beneath the work.

This is not a desk-only role—you’ll be involved from bid to build, working alongside experienced Estimators and Superintendents to bring projects to life.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Construction / Bidding
- Perform earthwork takeoffs (cut/fill, length/area)
- Review and interpret geotechnical reports
- Identify cost-saving engineering alternatives based on site conditions
- Support project presentations to developers
Field Engineering & GPS
- Build and maintain surface models for GPS machine control
- Coordinate CAD files and construction plans
- Troubleshoot real-world field issues with practical solutions
Construction Phase
- Support project execution to stay on schedule and within budget
- Assist with change orders, claims, and documentation
- Participate in site meetings and coordination efforts
- Develop as-builts and field drawings
Qualifications:
- 5 years in site work, excavation, or civil construction
- Experience with:
- AutoCAD
- GPS machine control
- Agtek
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding (or willingness to learn) soil types, site conditions, and geotechnical data
- Ability to read and interpret full construction plan sets
- Engineering degree preferred (or equivalent field experience)
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to Read Blueprints and Geotechnical Report, preferred but not required
- Ability to connect engineering concepts to field execution
Compensation:
- Salary Range: starting at $80,000 annually; Based on Skill Level
