Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with care
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions and retail math needs
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry or grocery store environment
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or kitchen work enhances your fit for this role
