What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office / Retail Support position at Schlemmer's Fire & Outdoor?
Overview
We are a 5th-generation company that sells, services, and installs fireplaces, stoves, and grills. Being a small company, all positions here carry responsibility. It is not a passive desk job. We are looking for someone interested in long-term growth with Schlemmer’s Fire & Outdoor.
We need someone who takes ownership. When a customer calls or walks in, you take ownership of seeing it through that they leave with clear direction and a solution to their problem.
You will learn how fireplace systems work. You will spend time in the field with technicians and installers. You'll be expected to understand what we do, why we do it, and how to guide customers through it.
If you like figuring things out, digging into manuals, and if you are intrinsically motivated by finding solutions to problems, this could be a great fit for you. This looks like helping customers find the right answers, which takes sifting through manuals and asking the right questions.
Pay: $17–$19/hr starting, based on experience and ability to learn quickly
