Temporary Calibration & Inventory Coordinator

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage and streamline our physical tool inventory and calibration processes. The Calibration and Inventory Coordinator will play a key part in bridging our current manual logging systems into our new digital tracking platform, GageTrak. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable, with basic data entry, and possesses strong attention to detail to ensure compliance and cost-efficiency across our tooling operations. This position is an 8-week temporary position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough manual inventory of all physical tools within the facility.
- Maintain and update the master calibration log to ensure all equipment is compliant and safe to use.
- Manage the logistics of sending tools out to external vendors for calibration and processing them upon return.
- Help implement a new digital location for storing calibration certificates.
- Assist the team with the rollout and setup of GageTrak software.
- Identify and decommission old or broken tools, document the assets, and provide cost impact reports to the finance team.
- Create/Setup/Iterate the current calibration process to be sustainable.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic Excel and data entry skills (ability to sort, log, and navigate spreadsheets comfortable).
- Good written English for email correspondence with vendors and clear documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail; able to spot discrepancies in serial numbers or calibration dates.
- Comfortable walking the building to locate and tag physical inventory.
- Previous exposure to inventory tracking, tool rooms, or quality management systems is a plus.
Expected Salary: $22-$25 per hour
