SURVEY TECHNICIAN
Schlagel is interested in adding a Surveying Technician to our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of Survey Technician/production experience in the Kansas City Metro Area. The candidate would be responsible for producing plats, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, easement exhibits, and base maps. Would work closely with licensed Land Surveyors and Field Crews. Those interested in obtaining Professional Licensure as a Land Surveyor are encouraged to apply.
Schlagel is a multi-discipline firm currently involved in a variety of commercial and industrial projects, multi-family and single family developments, and public works related projects for various local jurisdictions. This position will be involved in design support of projects in all phases of design including planning, permitting and construction.
The essential duties of this position include:
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D in the production of plats, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys
- Manipulation of survey point data
- Familiarity with platting and surveying standards in the State of Kansas and Missouri
- Coordination between Project Managers, Engineers, and Surveyors to meet project deadlines
- Detail oriented
