Purpose: The Human Resources Generalist II is a mid-level human resources professional responsible for supporting and executing a wide range of HR functions. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and management, ensuring HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals. The HR Generalist II will contribute to employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, and HR data reporting.
Primary Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
- Employee Relations
o Support conflict resolution and conduct investigations as needed.
o Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Recruitment & Onboarding
o Coordinate onboarding processes and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Compliance & Policy Administration
o Assist with compliance audits and reporting requirements.
o Assist in maintaining employee handbook and HR policies.
- HRIS & Reporting
o Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making.
- Benefits & Compensation Support
o Liaise with vendors and employees regarding benefits questions and issues.
o Reconcile benefits statements.
o Support compensation reviews and benchmarking efforts.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Translator/Interpreter certification preferred.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
