This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimator at Schiller, located in Greensboro, NC. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, reviewing project specifications and plans, collaborating with project stakeholders, and proposing cost-effective solutions. Additional responsibilities include ensuring that bids are submitted within deadlines, maintaining an accurate database of materials and services, and supporting project managers during the execution phase.
- Experience in construction estimation, cost analysis, and project planning
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong skills in project management and stakeholder collaboration
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Division 08, Division 10, and Division 28 specifications is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Access Control Systems and Door Hardware is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
