Company Summary:
As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining commercial and residential irrigation systems. This requires a working knowledge of evaluating and repairing the pipe, valves, & wiring associated with the irrigation system. You must be able to communicate with customers and have a great attitude to maintain our trust, service, integrity, & customer service satisfaction. As an Irrigation Technician at Enviroscapes, you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:
- Repair all aspects of an underground irrigation system
- Install, operate, & program all lawn irrigation controllers
- Troubleshoot and repair any irrigation issues, including wiring, leaks, and general maintenance
- Must demonstrate exceptional customer service & communication skills
- Must maintain a professional appearance & attitude
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

- Expert knowledge of landscape maintenance standards, knowledge of plant material, and installation standards

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Driver’s License and be insurable by company policy.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in using computers and learning new software quickly.
- Must pass a background and drug test and be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.
WORK CONDITIONS
Employees in this position should be able and willing to drive or travel locally as needed. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities. This position will require working outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, sun, extreme cold, or heat.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs, move about the work site, communicate efficiently and effectively on the telephone or in person, and complete required paperwork.
- Exposed to dust, pollen, chemicals, cold and heat in an external environment.
- Requires extended periods of walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting, up to 100% of a workday.
- External environment with all weather and terrain exposure. Safety equipment includes gloves, company uniform, earplugs and safety glasses.
