Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Clear tables, bus tables (bussing), and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and hosts/hostesses to coordinate service flow during busy hours, including nightclubs or special events.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes accurately.
- Experience with food preparation, serving techniques, or kitchen operations is a plus.
