What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer/Helper - Masonry position at Scheu Masonry?
Supplying brick, stone & block masons with any and all materials and tools necessary to preform their tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: mixing and transporting mortar, transporting brick, stone & block. This job is very physically demanding. A qualified applicant will have the strength and ability to carry 70 pound bags of mortar mix and shovel sand for most of the day. This job does not require any previous experience but experience is welcome. We require all applicants to have their own reliable mode of transportation. We usually work withing a 45 min radius of Evansville. The job location changes weekly and some times daily. We start very early sometimes as early as 5:30 A.M. Scheu Masonry will work with students schedules as much as possible. There is plenty of room for advancement with this job. We do our best to train and advance from with in the company. The goal is to train anyone who is interested in being a mason. Scheu Masonry's goal is to be a blessing to anyone who is willing to go to work, have a good attitude and do their best.
