Receptionist

Schepel Buick-GMC is seeking a friendly and professional part-time Receptionist to join our team in Merrillville, IN. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for everyone who calls in to our dealership. This role requires communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

The part-time schedule we are seeking to fill is 2-3 nights per week and every other Saturday. This position would be a great fit for teens in high school & college.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers who are picking up their vehicles from the service department.
• Collect payments from service & parts customers.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Manage front desk activities, including checking in courtesy vehicles.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing & data entry.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Able to work nights & Saturdays.
• Strong verbal communication skills & friendly demeanor.
• Proficient with basic computer applications.
• Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism.
