What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Stable Hand position at Schengrund Stables?
We're hiring! Our Morgan horse breeding farm in Palmyra is seeking a dependable, full-time stable hand to join our team. This position includes morning shifts, afternoon/evening shifts, shifts on the weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities include:
-Feed and water horses
-Cleaning stalls and barn area
-Grooming and basic horse care
-Administering medications as needed
-Assisting with general daily routines and care
Requirements:
-Must be 18 years or older
-Prior horse handling experience
-Reliable transportation
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Experience with foaling or young foals is preferred, but not required
