Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP is seeking an associate with 3-7 years’ experience in Healthcare Law.
Responsibilities:
• Provide counsel on fraud and abuse, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Serve as lead attorney on health care mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiation of transaction documents.
• Manage reimbursement matters, including billing audit and reimbursement dispute work.
• Examine and negotiate managed care contracts.
• Address medical staff issues, providing guidance and support, as needed.
• Navigate state and federal regulatory matters for healthcare providers, including professional licensing board matters and compliance investigations.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar
• A minimum of 3-7 years’ experience in healthcare law.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calm.
The annualized salary range for this position is $130,000-$170,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
