Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Worker to join our team. The Yard Worker will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and preparing roofing materials and equipment for job sites. This position plays a vital role in keeping our crews efficient and safe. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred, as occasional deliveries may be required. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Load and unload roofing materials and equipment.
- Maintain yard organization and cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory control and restocking.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment and tools.
- Restore and maintain yard equipment and tools, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Drive company vehicles to deliver materials to job sites.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience construction or roofing preferred.
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license; CDL Class A or B preferred.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
