Schelp Construction is an innovative custom framing contractor specializing in constructing energy efficient new residential homes using alternative building methods, designs and materials. We are currently looking for self motivated individuals with minimum of 3 years experience as a residential framer or carpenter. Canidates must be willing to learn new methods, adapt to our techniques, and learn to work with new products in an ever changing industry. Team chemistry and teamwork are priorities at Schelp Construction. This is an excellent position to expand your basic framing knowledge and take it to the next level!

Responsibilities include:

-Working with others as a team

-Following directions and requirements of the job

-Being adaptive to conditions and change orders

-Being on time and able to work an 8 hour day and 40 hour week

-A professional physical appearance and attitude

-Able to work in all weather conditions

Skills required:

-3 years minimum experience as a framing carpenter

-Skilled use of power tools (i.e. circular saw, sawzall, nail gun, drill and many other rough in tools

-Ability to safely work on ladders, scaffolding, and other methods that may involve working with heights

-Ability to take on tasks and projects without direct supervision

-Ability to work a physical job

-Ability to lift heavy materials and objects

-Having reliable transportation and drivers liscense

-The ability to learn new skills in an ever changing industry
