Responsibilities: 

• Research and prepare required tax and informational returns, including but not limited to: 
  • Sales and use tax 
  • Unclaimed property 
  • Corporation census reports 
  • Corporation annual reports 
• Assist with monthly billing processes, including gathering data, preparing reports and finalizing schedules for store billing
• Maintain internal taxability tables by researching product classifications and updating tax rules to ensure accurate tax treatment for all SKUs across states and jurisdictions
• Assist with research required for tax audits, inquiries and notices
• Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process
• Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects 
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
• Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential

Education & Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business field.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
