Responsibilities
Customer Service
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, one to two years of experience in social media marketing with demonstrated successes; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Roles are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement social and digital media content strategies that align with the goals of SCHEELS and its key vendors
- Performance Optimization: Analyze data and customer sentiment to provide actionable recommendations that increase reach, engagement, web traffic, and conversions
- Industry Knowledge: Passion for sports and athletics with an interest in staying on-top of industry trends, current events and news related to the sports category
- Customer Service: Deliver premier service to both internal teams and social followers through professional, timely, and authentic community engagement
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with merchandising, buying, and marketing offices to execute cohesive promotions, contests, and integrated digital campaigns
- Decision-Making: Exercise professional judgment and tact when addressing project needs and working with all levels of the organization
- Campaign Governance: Oversee campaign management to ensure all messaging aligns with brand standards and meets high-level approval requirements
- Platform Expertise: Maintain advanced knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing best practices to serve as the brand voice across channels including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Content Management: Research, create, and schedule high-quality content, ensuring the effective distribution of "SCHEELS Expert" assets across all marketing channels
- Operational Excellence: Ability to be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of social media
