Key Responsibilities
- Teach three classes of Judaic Studies, focusing on an engaging curriculum that promotes a deep understanding of Jewish texts, traditions, and values
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment for students
- Provide classroom support as a floater, assisting in various subjects and activities as needed, ensuring a smooth educational experience for all students
- Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere that encourages students to express themselves and ask questions
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends in Judaic studies.
- Serve as a modern orthodox role model
- Rabbinic ordination, seminary degree, bachelor’s degree in Education, Jewish Studies, or a related field is preferred
- Passion for educating teens: boys and girls.
- Excellent classroom management, differentiated instruction skills, and organization skills.
- As a collaborative working environment, must be a team player and be proficient with instructional technology.
- Flexibility and ability to work within an encouraging fast-paced environment where developing positive community relationships are critical.
- Experience teaching Judaic Studies in an Orthodox environment.
