Position Summary
The Press Operator 1 operates and maintains a two-piece, dry off-set printing press.
Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain proper mechanical operations of press.
- Maintain logs of daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance records.
- Communicate necessary press maintenance in advance to Production Manager.
- Record data into job tickets.
- Keep track of inventory.
- Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive, creative impact on the business.
- Attend all Environmental Health & Safety training sessions and other company-wide and departmental meetings.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures.
- Follow departmental standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Work overtime when requested by management.
- When handing off jobs to co-workers/next shift, clearly communicate any information for job completion.
- Assist with additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Education, Experience, & Certification
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience operating a printing press preferred
- Experience with dry off-set preferred

- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Strong technical print knowledge.
- Exceptional color vision.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work safely in press areas.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $23 - $25.35 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
