Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least two years full-time experience with one company
- One or more years forklift experience preferred
- Clamp experience highly preferred
- An ability to work 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm Mon-Fri.
- A willingness to learn and practice company processes from the ground up
- Ability to think and work in both a team environment and independently
- Good communication, organization, time management and mathematical skills
- Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills required (knowledge of SAP computer software is a plus)
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Forklift Warehouse Operator’s main task is to move large paper rolls and other goods with a clamp-lift or forklift with the goals to:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to shipping schedule
- Receive and process warehouse stock products utilizing computerised systems, barcode scanners and other technology to record product movement
- Assist with taking regular inventory
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Report any discrepancies and mark shipping damages
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
