TM Automotive Service Advisor

As a Service Advisor at Scharmach Automotive Group, you will be the bridge between our customers and the service team, ensuring a seamless and exceptional service experience. Your role involves assessing customer needs, recommending maintenance or repair services, and communicating clearly throughout the process to build trust and satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival or contact. 

• Adhere to company and department outlined processes for customer handling throughout the service visit. 

• Assess vehicle needs based on customer concerns, maintenance schedules, and diagnostic reports. 

• Recommend necessary repairs and services while explaining options in clear, easy-to-understand terms. 

• Provide accurate cost estimates and obtain customer approval for repairs. 

• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service completion. 

• Maintain consistent communication with customers, providing updates on repair status and any changes. 

• Review completed work with customers, explaining charges and services performed. 

• Promote dealership service packages, specials, and maintenance plans. 

• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with dealership and regulatory standards. 

Pay range of $75,000 to $130,000 a year

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive or business education preferred. 

• Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer service role (automotive industry experience preferred). 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude. 

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and terminology. 

• Proficient in dealership management software and office tools. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. 

• Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record. 

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
