Tire & Alignment Technician
Full-time • Tacoma, WA • $20–$26/hr • Mon–Sat, rotating Saturdays • Service Department

What you’ll do
- Mount, balance, rotate, and replace tires on BMW and MINI vehicles
- Inspect tires thoroughly — tread depth, sidewall condition, pressure — and communicate findings clearly
- Perform TPMS resets and sensor replacements
- Diagnose and repair punctures, leaks, and run-flat tire issues
- Keep your workspace clean and safe — these are world-class vehicles and we hold ourselves to that standard
- Partner with service advisors to flag additional needs and deliver a great customer experience
Wheel alignment responsibilities
Proper alignment is critical to the performance and safety of every vehicle we service. As a tire & alignment tech at BMW Northwest, you’ll:
- Perform 4-wheel alignment services using computerized alignment equipment
- Inspect and measure camber, caster, toe, and thrust angle to BMW factory specifications
- Identify and communicate suspension or steering components that may be affecting alignment
- Conduct pre- and post-alignment road test evaluations
- Document alignment readings and adjustments accurately in the dealership management system
- Training on alignment machines provided — willingness to learn is all you need
