Collision Center Estimator

As a Customer Service Representative / Estimator at Scharmach Automotive Group, you are the first point of contact for our customers, you will guide them through the repair process from start to finish, providing exceptional service while learning to create repair estimates using industry-leading software. 

Pay range is $25.00 - $30.00 an hour

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
• Build trust by explaining the repair process and answering customer questions.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding repair status and expected completion dates.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and provide outstanding customer service.
• Schedule appointments for vehicle estimates and repairs.
• Learn and become proficient in collision estimating software (CCC ONE).
• Assist estimators by gathering vehicle information, photos, and documentation.
• Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, and insurance companies to ensure a smooth repair process.
• Maintain accurate customer files and repair documentation.
• Assist with insurance claim information and customer paperwork.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and company processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment.
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and industry training.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills with the willingness to learn new software systems.
• Desire to learn collision repair estimating and build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
• Experience in the automotive, collision repair, dealership, or insurance industry is a plus, but not required.
• Valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record.
