About the Role:

The Parts-Shipping/Receiving / parts counter trainee position  is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of automotive parts in and out of our facility. This role involves managing inventory levels, processing incoming shipments, and preparing outgoing orders to meet customer demands efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all parts transactions, which is essential for inventory management and operational efficiency. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of parts, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the Parts-Shipping/Receiving role plays a vital part in supporting our commitment to quality service and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivale
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
• must be available to work Saturdays

Preferred Qualification

• Knowledge of automotive parts 

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming parts shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Process and document all incoming and outgoing shipments in the inventory management system.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments.
• Prepare parts for shipping, including packaging and labeling according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Skills:
