We are seeking a candidate for our medical decision team who demonstrates exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the primary contact for visitor inquiries
- Processing medical consent documents for procedures ranging from surgeries to vaccines
- Reviewing and obtaining signatures for release of information (ROI) requests
- Updating client information
- Communicating with clients and their families, social workers, hospitals, care facilities, and funeral homes
- Retrieving important documents such as birth and death certificates, medical records and discharge paperwork
Qualifications:
- No advanced degrees or certifications required
- 1 year working in legal or administrative work is preferred
- Strong personality
- Exceptional communication skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge and comfort with Microsoft office programs
