Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our established fish processing company. This position requires a highly organized individual who can effectively manage customer relationships, coordinate product logistics, and communicate with multiple departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Generate sales and secure orders for fresh and frozen fish products.
- Communicate daily with production floor supervisors regarding inventory, processing schedules, and product availability.
- Coordinate with local fishermen and suppliers to arrange fish purchases and deliveries.
- Schedule and communicate pickup requirements with company truck drivers to ensure timely transportation of products.
- Monitor customer orders from purchase through delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer accounts, and inventory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience required, preferably in seafood, food processing, or a related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work closely with production staff, fishermen, drivers, and customers.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with email, phone communications, and basic computer applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license .
- Ability to understand the workings of fish processing.
- Ability to stay late and work overtime as needed.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
