POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator supports commercial construction projects from preconstruction
through project closeout by providing highly organized, detail-oriented coordination
across teams. This role assists Project Managers, Superintendents, and the
Preconstruction team with documentation, communication, and day-to-day project
support.
This position is designed for an individual who is comfortable excelling in a long-term
support role and takes pride in helping project teams operate efficiently and effectively.
The Project Coordinator must be highly detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable, with
the ability to manage multiple priorities while working effectively with a wide range of
personalities, including clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal team members.
This position reports to the Construction Services Manager.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support Project Managers, Superintendents, and Preconstruction staff across all
phases of work, from preconstruction planning through construction completion and
closeout.
• Serve as the primary owner of project documentation, ensuring all drawings,
specifications, meeting notes, and communications are current, accurate, and properly
maintained.
• Assist with subcontractor and vendor coordination, including bid tracking, buyout
support, purchase orders, change orders, and insurance documentation.
• Coordinate project logistics and administrative needs, including scheduling meetings,
permitting support, jobsite photography, signage coordination, and document
distribution.
• Maintain organized project files and systems that support efficient field and office
operations.
• Act as a reliable coordination link between office staff, field teams, subcontractors,
consultants, and vendors.
TECHNOLOGY & SYSTEMS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable learning construction software and document management systems.
• Uses Microsoft Teams consistently as the system of record for project communication
and documentation.
• Maintains organized, up-to-date digital files that support field operations.

EXPERIENCE
• 2 - 5 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or a related professional
role preferred.
• Exposure to commercial construction projects is a plus.
