Job Summary:
With a start of early morning hours, as a CDL A Digest Hauler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of products using multi axle tankers. This position requires a valid Tanker Endorsement and the ability to drive manual transmission trucks. You will be working an average of 12 hours per day, though this may vary depending on weather conditions and workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Materials: Drive commercial trucks (such as tanker trucks)
- Compliance and Safety: Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, weight limits, and site safety protocols (including hazardous material and sanitation rules).
- Ensure Timely and Safe Delivery: Product from farm to farm.
- Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues to the maintenance team.
- Communicate effectively with management and farm personnel.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Commercial Driver’s License: Valid CDL (Class A) with tanker (N) or other relevant endorsements. Minimum of 1 year experience.
- Experience Required: with manual transmission trucks, heavy haul, and multi axel.
- Driving Record: Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and ability to pass background and drug screenings.
- Loading and Unloading: Operate pumps, hoses, valves, or heavy equipment to securely load and off-load feedstock or digested materials without spills.
- Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Weather: Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, sit for extended periods while driving, climb ladders or trailer tanks, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
