- Interacts with production operators and team leads and can escalate issues to Production Supervisors and QMPP
- Responsible of overseeing all QC activities across their area in the plant in a daily basis Writes ePCA's and eQA as needed
- Conduct containments and purges when quality issues are identified
- Ensure required shopfloor documentation is properly filled out. (travel tags, checklists, etc.)
- Provide detailed pass downs with effective communication at end of shift
- Good product knowledge of processes and routing
- Excellent knowledge of QCMS and Hold Tags
- Can assist in preparing for external audits by verifying documentation on production floor is current and approved
- Advanced knowledge of IPC Standards
- Can provide feedback to process and supplier quality engineer on line quality issues.
- Must be able to fill in as needed in any of the other QC positions across the plant
- Ensure that all QC checks/activities across their area in the plant (North/South Building) are being completed, and quality issues are properly escalated when needed
- Provide support to other QCs when needed, containments, pack inspections, sorting activities etc.
- Ensure that all personnel are following the proper procedures to produce a quality product
- Must be able to lead root cause investigation and work with manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, and production as necessary to identify areas and assist in providing resolution
- Able to communicate clearly and present data to engineering and management when needed
- Employs various problem-solving techniques to drive problems to permanent corrective action
- Audit production documents and revise as needed
- Performs random line audits and inspections and follows up on nonconformances if any found
- 5S Area Leader, Facilitate 5S improvements in the area
- Must be able to work together with cross-functional teams when solving quality-related issues
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Usually works on all shifts (same with the shift plan of the manufacturing line).

- Comply with ESH, LEAN and 5S rules, etc.
- Familiar with VT QMS, esp. Job-related rules include production restart, PokaYoke - Jidoka, structured problem solving, etc.
- Familiar with Tools: MES/CAM/QCMS/PARTS FINDER
- Ensure approach of structure problem solving in Shopfloor area, by coaching of SPS basics.
- Support in projects to improve the quality performance in manufacturing line
- Ensure quality by authority to stop production
- Stop production line in case quality requirements are not fulfilled and ensure corrective actions be defined and verified.
- In case of deviation, non-conformance management to be initiated (incl. sorting, Block Stock of parts,etc.)
- Ensure quality by regular check of production documentation (e.g. Jidoka, Scrap)
- Ensure quality by authority to restart the line once root cause of problem got identified and contained
- Support capability check of manufacturing equipment during line release phase like cross section, capability report collection, hardness measurement, process quality parameter collection, etc.
- Assist in managing deviations on a production line as per Shop Floor Deviation Management protocols
- Support in documentation and tracking of changes in production processes and quality control methods
- Involved in execution and monitoring according to VT0311016 - Change Management
- Participate in implementing new changes on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to quality standards
Your Qualifications
- Associates of Applied Science in Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar technical degree, or Military Training Certification
- 1 -3 years of equivalent experience in Electronics
- Ability to lift 28 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to stand for periods up to 12 hours.
- Must be able to Push, Pull Reach, Twist, Turn, Stoop, Walk, Sand for 12 hours.
- Office software skills
- Communication skills
- Able to identify order of priority assignments
- Understand production process and quality-related tools (e.g., POKAYOKE, Jidoka, defects handling, etc.)
