Schaeffer Manufacturing, an 187-year-old family company, headquartered in the St. Louis Soulard neighborhood is looking for a FT Shipping & Receiving Associate for 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm).
- Fill non-stock (special fill) and stock items per production list
- Work through Production List in First In, First Out (FIFO) and determine what needs to be filled
- Communicate out of stock products to Blenders
- Work through Production List in First In, First Out (FIFO) and determine what needs to be filled
- Discuss with the supervisor/team daily to determine shipping schedule and order prioritization
- Provide samples to Quality Control if requested and receive Quality Control results
- Fill all necessary containers to complete products as required by Bill of Lading and assembly build in NetSuite BIN appropriately
- Communicate ETS of order inquiries
- Monitor container component stock levels and inform supervisor if low
- Fill out all paperwork completely and accurately
- Report any spills or leaks that could cause a potential accident or affect the environment
- Keep work area clean
High School Diploma or equivalent
Attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Salary : $20 - $22
